This week saw the annual London Club and Bar Awards being held at The Intercontinental Hotel, Park Lane and we are pleased to announce that Chinawhite was voted Best New Club 2010. Almost 11 years to the day since we first won this award, we’d like to thank all of our members, friends and guests and hope you will continue to enjoy the club for many years to come!
We are also very proud of our resident DJ, Sam Young, who was voted Best DJ 2010, he’s off playing in Shanghai this week but will be back for his set next Wednesday.
We start the weekend with the return of Kaveh who steps in for Sam Young. Kaveh has become a firm favourite at the club and his sets continue to surprise all of us. Nathalie Morel is back in the Temple Room playing everything from Michael Jackson to Ja Rule.
Finally, with the world cup starting this weekend we thought we’d better be prepared so we’ve installed screens in our restaurant so you can enjoy great food whilst watching some great (we hope) football. We’ll be open from Wednesday until Saturday (as usual) showing various games and providing a special World Cup menu. We have had a lot of interest already so please let us know ASAP if you are keen; reservations are essential.
